Hooray for my favorite season of the year! I love fall! The pretty, crisp leaves and the coolness in the air. I think Emma does too:) She has a fascination with trees and loves our walks which are even more fun now with the falling leaves:) We are enjoying her so much! We can play with her and chat with her. And it's easier now to tell what is bothering her. We've had a rough few days/evenings as Emma has sprouted two teeth! But she's done really well and it just goes to further support our belief that Emma is brilliant. She also has mastered holding a sippy cup, grabbing toys that seem to be out of reach, and a whole new array of squeals, coo's, and jabbers:) She continues to sleep so well at night, even through teething, and I owe her the world for that. She goes down about 8:30 which gives RJ and I some quiet time to ourselves before we too hit the hay. Her hair is growing in like crazy, and for this mommy especially, that is super!!:) The headband-only phase may be coming to an end!
Last Sunday, Emma was dedicated at our church and this past Sunday her daddy and I took the 101 class to become members. As Emma grows and learns I realize just how critical our roles as her parents are, and how I want to learn everything that I can to become a better Christian woman and example to my daughter. I am looking into finding a Godly parenting class or book, so if anyone reading this has any suggestions, leave me a comment!
Sorry this post is hurried, but Grandma Sue is here for "Suesdays" with Emma and we're going to go take Daddy out to lunch before Mommy goes to cut some hair! I will just say that I am so, SO blessed with the amazing family that I have and I hope and pray I can live in such a way that pleases the Lord, for He has done such great things for me!!!
