This update is a request for prayer and the lifting up of Emma's Gramma. My mom had an accident last wednesday night while helping with the ponies. She's got a banged up face, which is healing up nicely, but more importantly is her arm. She was told in the ER that it was broken and that it would heal up nicely on it's own. Monday she went to see an orthopedic who told her that the doctor at the ER clearly had no idea of how bad her injury was. The break was actually up in her shoulder and would DEFINITELY need surgery. She had a long day yesterday of more doctors and more tests to prep her for surgery and will be undergoing the procedure sometime this week. I ask that you pray for relief from the pain, a successful surgery, and peace for her through this whole ordeal. It's been a tough year on our family already, and while God is seeing us through, it wears on each of us heavily. Summer is always a busy time with lots going on, and we pray for mom's sake and ours that her recovery is a quick one.
