I can't believe that only 24 hours after my last post, we were at the hospital waiting for baby Van Dyke to be born!! But thank God for answered prayers, and at 7:37 pm on Thursday, April 22nd, Emma Rae Van Dyke was born. She was a healthy 7 pounds and 8 oz, 19.5 inches long, and at 11 days old I'm happy to say she is up to 7lb 9oz, back over her birth weight:)
The transition to life with a newborn is a crazy, exhausting, wonderful one.
